By specifying the center point and radius of the sphere region, QueryExt::queryConnectedRegion() returns a list of clusters’ index within this region. I would like to ask how I can get all the objects within these clusters, and what else I can do after getting these clusters’ index.
The connected region query is considered as somewhat experimental feature – as everything in QueryExt.
One of the use cases for the feature currently is for audio occlusion, where you query the list of connected cluster handles using the audio source as the region query sphere origin. Then you can check the cluster handle of the “listener” or the player camera by using QueryExt::queryClusterForPoint() and see if this handle is included in the list of cluster handles connected to the audio source.
